Welcome to Clapp's C.A.R.s!   After a small stint as a A&P mechanic at the local airport I began a small business in 1994 that kept me busy until 2006.  I have refurbished and maintained many cars for a wide customer base.   My specialty is 1956-1982 Volkswagens of various models.   In 1991 I worked in a restoration shop that restored British cars such as the MGA, MGA, Triumph, and Austin Healy's.  This gave me a love for restoring older cars but never did I think that I would use my talents in my own shop one day.   Take your time and look at some of the pictures of some of the cars I have built and restored.  Some are classic show cars but the majority are daily drivers.  I served a wide variety of people and desires.  At this time I am heavily involved in the aviation market with Aeromax Aviation but I can and do build cars on a customer request basis.  So if you have a classic VW that needs a face lift or if you have a need for a certain model year and style VW that I can track down and build for you, let me know and I will see if I can fill your needs.  If you are interested in contacting me please feel free to email or call.
